About Us
Christ Church Anglican was formed in August, 2007 in order to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ, “Go and make disciples of all nations.” A biblically orthodox church, Christ Church upholds the historic faith once delivered and worships in the Anglican tradition.
Christ Church is part of the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) and a member of the Diocese of Western Anglicans - our Archbishop is The Most Rev. Robert Duncan and our Bishop is The Rt. Rev. William Thompson.
The worldwide Anglican Communion has churches in 164 countries with about 77 million members. Our first Rector, the Reverend Christopher M. Schutte, was installed on May 15, 2008.
Christ Church Anglican worship services are held Sundays at 9:00 am and Wednesdays at 7:00 am at 5811 N. 20th St., Phoenix, AZ 85016, three blocks north of the intersection of 20th Street and Missouri Avenue.
