Pastoral Care
Pastoral Care is an active and caring ministry at CCA.When we consider the concept of “caring," we discover that caring is “pastoral” when it is not merely one person caring for another, but when caring is an expression of the whole life and purpose of the Christian community.
At Christ Church Anglican, we have such a caring community of parishioners who feed, visit, and pray for one another. One look at the content of this newsletter affirms that. But we are also fortunate to have a very active prayer ministry.
The prayer list is updated each week. Everyone on the prayer list is contacted on a weekly basis to see how they are doing. Fr. Chris then meets with Pastoral Care coordinators Kay Drozdowski and Sue Harper to review the list and add or delete names. After that, the list is sent to the Prayer Team. Members of the Prayer Team pray individually or together in Prayer Concerts held in the church.
