Children and Youth
Christ Church Anglican has a vibrant children's and youth program supported by our Children's Ministry headed by Megan Comstock and our Youth Minister, Ryan Thurman. Their work is supported by a Children and Youth Minsitry Committee comprosed of Christ Church staff, children and youth parents and parish volunteers. The committee is actively involved in the curriculum, Sunday School, Mission Trips, fellowship and activities of our youth.
Since God’s ministry to children and young people takes place primarily within the context of the family, the youth program seeks to walk alongside parents and families in their journey to grow as faithful disciples of Christ.
Additionally, because God has called us all together as part of a larger “family” which is the Church, all of us can minister to young people and be ministered to by them - seeing Christ in them and learning from them. Current youth and family activities include Sunday or Church school, evening programs, get-togethers, activities, ministry, social outings, retreats and mission trips.
