Outreach
Mission Outreach at Christ Church Anglican supports several valley charities. The first is the Phoenix Rescue Mission. The Phoenix Rescue Mission is unique among the many homeless shelters in that they have a strong orthodox Christian worship and education component connected with their services.
In addition to the food drives, Christ Church Anglican serves food in the Phoenix Rescue Mission dining room. Teams of volunteers from the church go to the mission on the forth Wednesday of each month and serve 200 to 300 meals to homeless families. Anyone interested in participating in this meaningful ministry is welcome to sign up. Watch for notices for sign up opportunities in the church bulletin or contact Frank Woods.
Christ Church Anglican is also active with Habitat for Humanity. We participate in special projects as requested by Habitat and also regularly scheduled build days to help with construction of home for those in need.
